Hyatt Hotels Executive Chairman Thomas Pritzker was among those named in recently unsealed court documents pertaining to late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking ring.
Among the documents made public was a 2015 lawsuit against Epstein conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, in which one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, claims she had sex with the Hyatt billionaire.
According to The Messenger, Giuffre was asked in a 2016 deposition how many times she had had sex with Pritzker. Giuffre replied, “I believe I was with Tom once.”
Pritzker has not been charged in connection to Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes. Maxwell was found guilty of child sex trafficking in 2021.
Hyatt representatives did not respond to a Hotel Dive request for comment as of press time. In a statement emailed to The Messenger, a spokesperson for Pritzker said: “This is the same false and isolated allegation that was published and vehemently denied more than four years ago. Mr. Pritzker continues to vehemently deny it.”
Pritzker has an estimated net worth of $6 billion, according to Forbes. His father, Jay Pritzker, co-founded Hyatt.
