Full-service hospitality company KSL Resorts appointed industry veteran Greg Kennealey to CEO.
Kennealey succeeds KSL Resorts co-founder Scott Dalecio, who is stepping down from the top job after a 20-year tenure, according to LinkedIn.
Kennealey joins KSL Resorts following a 10-year stint at KSL Capital Partners, where he held the roles of principal and head of hospitality. He has also served as CEO of Mission Hill Hospitality, a KSL Capital Partners company, since its inception in 2021 and will continue in that capacity.
In his new role, Kennealey is tasked with overseeing the operation, development and strategic direction of KSL Resorts and its growing portfolio, which currently includes various Under Canvas and Outrigger Resorts & Hotels properties. KSL Resorts invests in and manages a global portfolio of more than two dozen resorts, hotels and clubs.
“I look forward to collaborating with our very talented team as we focus on expanding our portfolio as well as working to boost operational efficiencies and innovation,” Kennealey said in a statement.
Dalecio said he's confident Kennealey will be “a highly effective and dynamic leader,” who will create “value and unique experiences.”
Dalecio will continue as a senior advisor to KSL Resorts and executive chairman of Outrigger.
