The Alpharetta, Georgia-based hotel owner, operator and developer Hotel Equities named Eric McCarthy-Zink CFO on Thursday.
McCarthy-Zink will take on the new role after most recently serving as the company’s senior vice president of accounting, according to LinkedIn. McCarthy-Zink first joined Hotel Equities in 2021 through the company’s strategic partnership with hospitality development and investment group The Hotel Group.
At The Hotel Group, McCarthy-Zink held the role of senior vice president of hotel accounting, according to LinkedIn. He previously held positions at hospitality companies including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Worldwide and Walt Disney World Resorts.
As CFO, McCarthy-Zink is tasked with overseeing company-wide finances and accounting, supporting the firm's partners, clients, lenders, investors and an internal team. He will work to streamline processes to enhance efficiency and drive performance, according to Hotel Equities.
