Dive Insight:
Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley joins the luxury brand’s mountain collection, which across the Americas region includes properties in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Vail, Colorado; and Whistler in Canada.
By combining its hospitality and residential offerings in the “storied mountain setting” of Park City, Four Seasons aims to provide travelers with an “incomparable luxury retreat,” Carnahan said in a statement.
In addition to 134 guest rooms and suites, the Deer Valley resort will offer 123 one- to six-bedroom private residences ranging in size from 1,200 to 7,000 square feet. Some 55 residences will be situated above the resort, offering ski-in/ski-out mountain access.
Led by New York-based ODA Architecture, the resort will be designed to “reflect the very best of alpine luxury hospitality,” with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies to view the destination's “breathtaking topography,” according to Four Seasons. Guest rooms and homes will also have fireplaces.
Guests and residents will have access to wellness and fitness facilities with saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and spa services. The resort will also offer four dining options, including a ski-in/ski-out lounge with an outdoor terrace and fireplace.
The resort will offer activities year-round, with proximity to more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails, an ice rink, an indoor sports court and indoor and outdoor pools.
Four Seasons announced the project just weeks after Hyatt opened the luxury 436-key Grand Hyatt Deer Valley resort anchoring Deer Valley East Village.
Last month, Four Seasons reopened Four Seasons Hotel New York.
