Virginia-based hospitality management company Crestline Hotels & Resorts has named Alexander Belden a vice president of business development, the company’s president and CEO, James Carroll, announced Monday.
Belden joins Crestline with more than a decade of hospitality and institutional investment and acquisition experience. He previously served as head of institutional growth at Avantstay, where he led the company’s commercial, development and brokerage verticals. He previously held leadership positions at Davidson Hospitality Group and AJ Capital Partners.
“Alex’s breadth of experience and relationships are a tremendous asset as Crestline continues its trajectory in strategically growing our portfolio,” Carroll said in the announcement.
Earlier this month, Crestline added two luxury boutique hotels to its portfolio, including The Delphi in downtown Los Angeles and the Waldorf Towers South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. The company’s entire portfolio encompasses 127 hotels and approximately 18,000 rooms.
At Crestline, Belden will work alongside Samuel Woodworth, who also recently joined the company as a vice president of business development. Woodworth has a background in hospitality development and finance, previously serving as the director of acquisitions at Philadelphia-based GF Hotels & Resorts.
