Choice Hotels International has promoted company veteran Sireesha Kunduri to chief of product engineering.
In her new position at the helm of Choice’s technology team, Kunduri will lead the “software product delivery functions” that support the company’s portfolio of hotel brands, revenue management and membership rewards.
Kunduri moves up the ladder from her most recent role as vice president of engineering at Choice, which she assumed in 2019. In her eight-year tenure at the hotel company, Kunduri also held the role of director of engineering.
Before joining Choice in 2016, Kunduri worked at technology and information company GoDaddy in multiple engineering and software development roles, according to LinkedIn.
Choice Chief Information Officer Brian Kirkland said Kunduri has been “instrumental in driving technological innovation” at Choice.
“With her wealth of experience and proven track record of success, I'm confident Kunduri will help us take the technology products we develop for our franchisees, our customers, and across the enterprise to the next level,” Kirkland said in a statement.
Choice has hit several technological milestones during Kunduri’s tenure, including earlier this year when the hotel company became the first of its kind to migrate its entire system infrastructure to the cloud.
