In the first quarter of this year, apartment-style accommodations providers made notable expansion moves as travelers increasingly sought out upscale extended stay offerings.
Multiple operators opened residence-style hotels across the U.S. in the first months of this year. Mint House, meanwhile, opened a college-town “aparthotel” amid an expansion fueled by its February acquisition of Locale. And StayApt Suites inked new franchise agreements for a dozen apartment-style properties across multiple states.
